Here we are, one month of 2008 gone already. Are you 8.33% closer to reaching your goals for the year?

You should be - that's equivalent to one twelfth.

If not, what's holding you back? Are there legitimate reasons that you aren't as far along as you had planned or are there just excuses that you're trying to make legitimate?

Let's be honest - stuff happens. I get that. But sometimes you need to decide that "stuff" is going to take a backseat to the work that furthers your business goals.

When you're looking back on 2008 in another 11 months, which do you think is going to make you happier - a clean garage or a nice second income? What about having all your PLR content nicely organized into folders where you can easily find it, or having a niche website that earns several hundred dollars (or more) a month?

If you've fallen behind on your goals for the year, don't get discouraged - get busy instead.

Don't fall into the trap of thinking that goal setting only needs to be done at the beginning of January. Spend some time at the start of every month assessing your progress and refining your plans.

You'll probably find some of the things you planned at the beginning of the year aren't going to work out, for one reason or another. But other things will come up to take their place.

Make sure you're running your life, not the other way around!
