Don't Ignore Your Smaller Email Lists

If you subscribe to the "money's in the list" theory, you probably collect names on a lot of different websites in various markets.

I've got 25 or 30 lists with 50 to 100 people on them that I don't actively email after the autoresponder sequences are done. I'm always thinking that I need to add more messages or send broadcasts, but I just never make the time to do it.

Well, this morning I thought I'd try something. I found one of those $7 reports (actually $10 in this case) related to one of my markets and sent out a quick broadcast with a short promotion.

All told, it took me about 30 minutes to set up, mainly because I had to install GoTryThis on the site so I could set up a tracking URL.

There are 47 people on the list, some of whom haven't heard from me for 3 months or more.

The first sale came through in less than an hour. It's only $10, but I now know that list has buyers.

So for 30 minutes of work I've made at least $10 and identified one of my markets that I should really be paying more attention to.

Here's my plan for the next week or two:

1. Pick one or two of these under-utilized markets every day
2. Find a related $7 report at http://www.7dollaroffers.com/
3. Send out a quick promotion email
4. Identify the ones that convert and spend some time on them

How about you? Are you leaving money on the table by ignoring your lists?
