Affiliate Linking Policy
I just read through my last post to be sure there weren't any glaring errors and it hit me that I should probably explain my stance on affiliate links on this blog.
First, this is a blog about internet marketing so it shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone reading this that there will be affiliate links on the site.
Something that sticks in my craw, however, is internet marketers who push every product that gets released. There are certain marketers - who shall remain nameless (at this point at least) - who send a constant stream of emails about the "hottest new resource" in the internet marketing world.
I assume that must mean the hottest since yesterday, since these messages come daily from some people…
I believe that if you're going to refer people to a product, you should only do so if you believe in it yourself. Why would I want to make money by helping someone sell a piece of junk?
Sorry, I'd rather sleep well at night.
So my policy regarding affiliate links on the blog is that I'll only use them for products that I either use myself or have reviewed and believe are worth the money.
If you look at the last post about Project Black Mask, the links to the website are direct links - I won't get any commission if you click through from here and buy it.
I'm going to put together a list of the top 10 tools and resources that I'm currently using. And yes, the links will be affiliate links - but they'll all be worth the money you'll spend on them.
