Upon logging into my Adsense account today, I found myself faced with a revised terms of service policy that has to be accepted by May 25, 2008 if you want to continue using Adsense.

It seems to me that every other time I've seen this, Google has pointed out the specific sections that had changed but not this time.

The change that I think is going to affect the most people is the need to have a privacy policy on your site that notifies your visitors that your site uses cookies and/or web beacons, which of course could be placed by the Adsense code.

If you've got many sites without privacy policies, you'd better get started updating them. You've got until May 25 to accept the changes or your Adsense ads won't be showing any more (or at least you won't be earning anything from them).
