This video just came across my Twitter feed…

If you follow Apple at all, you'll recognize it as a jab at their Macbook Air ads.I thought this was a great video, although it might not be as funny to anyone who isn't an Apple "fanboy".

I'm curious to see how much of an effect this video has on the traffic going to the website for the people who made it - UMDBureau.com. As of right now, it hasn't even been ranked by Alexa. I'm going to follow it up in a week or two and see if it's ranked by Alexa then.

The video came from Robert Scoble's Twitter feed, which is one of the most read feeds on Twitter. I suspect that is going to drive some pretty good traffic, which is exactly why these viral videos can work so well. If you get noticed by someone with a large readership, it can work wonders for traffic.

Now, whether that traffic will convert to anything you're offering is another question but the only way to find out is to test it.

I'll post a follow up in a week or two to see if this had any identifiable effect on traffic to that site.
